Who Can Apply to the Washington University MPHS Program?

The MPHS program is designed specifically for clinicians, pre-doctoral students, and post-doctoral trainees. Students benefit from learning alongside a diverse class from all fields of medicine.

Successful applicants:

  • Are passionate about population health and can clearly communicate how a Master of Population Health Sciences degree fits into their overall career goals.
  • Have a strong academic record and relevant academic preparation with an emphasis on quantitative skills.
  • Have completed a clinical training program at the doctoral level or be in the process of completing such a degree. (Medical students, learn more about the MD-MPHS).
